Despite the harrowing experience, the Chief Minister remained undeterred. After the safe landing, she decided to abandon the aerial route and proceeded to her scheduled meeting in Nabagram by road. Visuals from the spot showed the Chief Minister’s motorcade navigating through the rain-soaked terrain as she refused to cancel her public outreach. Aviation experts suggested that the decision to land was crucial to avoid a major mid-air mishap given the intensity of the storm.
