Big Blow to TMC in Purulia! Popular Teacher Ashish Karmakar Joins BJP 24 Hours After Mamata’s Rally

In a swift political development just 24 hours after CM Mamata Banerjee’s rally in Purulia, the BJP has strengthened its roots in the district. Renowned former teacher and educationist Ashish Karmakar, popularly known as ‘Sir’ in the Begunkodar area, officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today.
Karmakar, known for his integrity and social work post-retirement, stated that he chose the BJP to serve society under a transparent and nationalist leadership. He criticized the current administration for rampant corruption and a lack of genuine development in rural Purulia. BJP leaders hailed his joining, stating that the entry of respected intellectuals like him would significantly boost the party’s image and grassroots connectivity in the backward regions of the district.
