9 Lakh Jobs in 9 Years! From ‘Bimaru’ to ‘Growth Engine’, CM Yogi Highlights UP’s Transformation

During a ceremony at Lok Bhavan, Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handed over appointment letters to 665 nursing officers, marking a milestone in the state’s employment drive. He announced that nearly 9 lakh youths have secured government jobs in a completely transparent manner over the last nine years. Highlighting the economic shift, he stated that Uttar Pradesh has transitioned from being a “Bimaru” state to the “growth engine” of India’s economy.

CM Yogi noted that UP is now a revenue-surplus state and ranks among the top three economies in the country. He emphasized the transformation of Noida and Greater Noida from a “crime capital” to a global investment hub. Projects like the Asia’s largest airport in Jewar, an International Film City, and Medical Device Parks are set to create over 1 lakh jobs for the youth.

Addressing the recent panic regarding fuel supplies, the Chief Minister dismissed claims of petrol, diesel, or gas shortages as “baseless rumors.” He appealed to the public not to engage in panic buying or hoarding. Regarding healthcare, he highlighted the establishment of 31 new nursing colleges and the success of robotic surgeries at the Lohia Institute. He also warned that a “third eye” is monitoring recruitment processes to ensure zero corruption, boosting the confidence of the state’s youth.
