Minab School Massacre: Iran Urges Immediate International Probe into the Missile Strike

Following the horrific missile strike on the Shajarah Tayyeba Primary School in Minab, Iran has officially called for an expedited and independent international investigation. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, addressing the UN, emphasized that the deaths of 175 students and teachers cannot be dismissed as “collateral damage.” Tehran is pushing for a high-level probe to determine the exact origin and intent behind the US Tomahawk missile that hit the facility on February 28.
The Need for Accountability While Washington maintains the strike was based on flawed intelligence, Iran argues that modern precision-strike technology leaves little room for such a catastrophic “mistake.” Global human rights watchdogs are also joining the call for a time-bound inquiry, stressing that shielding the perpetrators would set a dangerous precedent for international humanitarian law. Tehran has signaled that it will provide all necessary evidence to a neutral committee to ensure the “genocide” does not go unpunished.
