Waiting for Yuvasathi Allowance? CM Mamata Banerjee Makes a Big Announcement from Pandabeswar!

The long wait for thousands of beneficiaries of the ‘Yuvasathi’ scheme in West Bengal is finally coming to an end. Addressing a public gathering at Pandabeswar on Friday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee personally assured the unemployed youth of the state that the pending allowance would be credited to their bank accounts very soon. This statement comes as a huge relief to those who had been expressing concerns over not receiving the monthly stipend for the past few months.

During the administrative meeting in Pandabeswar, the CM clarified that the delay was primarily due to technical processing and verification of bank details. “Do not worry if you haven’t received your Yuvasathi money yet. We are working on the data processing. Every eligible applicant will receive the funds directly into their accounts shortly,” she said. Sources in Nabanna suggest that the state government has prioritized clearing all outstanding payments under social welfare schemes before the peak of the election season.

The Yuvasathi scheme provides a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500 to unemployed youth to support them in their career development. Despite facing financial hurdles due to non-release of central funds, Mamata Banerjee emphasized that her government would continue to run all welfare projects, including Yuvasathi and Lakshmir Bhandar. The Chief Minister’s proactive assurance from the Pandabeswar stage has successfully calmed the nerves of the young job seekers across the state, who are now eagerly waiting for the SMS notification of the credit.
