Abhishek’s Masterclass in Daspur: Slams BJP Over Fund Blockade While Highlighting TMC’s Growth!

In a high-decibel political rally at Daspur, TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee presented a comprehensive report card of the state government’s developmental work while launching a scathing attack on the BJP. Addressing a massive gathering, Abhishek emphasized that Daspur has witnessed a revolutionary transformation in infrastructure, education, and social welfare under Mamata Banerjee’s leadership over the last decade.
Abhishek did not mince words when criticizing the central government for withholding crucial funds for West Bengal. He accused the BJP of practicing “vengeful politics” by stalling MGNREGA wages and Awas Yojana funds. “BJP leaders are like migratory birds; they flock to Bengal only during elections with hollow promises and disappear once the polls are over. They are blocking the money that rightfully belongs to the people of Bengal,” he stated.
Highlighting specific projects in Daspur, including improvements in rural connectivity and support for the local farming community, Abhishek challenged the BJP to a debate on development. He asserted that while the saffron party relies on communal polarization and central agencies, the TMC relies on its grassroots connect and tangible progress. The rally at Daspur is seen as a strategic move by Abhishek to consolidate the rural vote bank by shifting the narrative from controversies to the politics of performance.
