The historical city of Puri is witnessing a momentous occasion as the mysterious ‘Ratna Bhandar’ (Treasury) of the Lord Jagannath Temple is set to open after a gap of 48 long years. The Operation: A high-level committee led by Justice Biswanath Rath has been authorized to break the locks if the original keys fail to work. According to historical records, the treasure is stored in two parts: the ‘Bahara Bhandar’ (Outer Treasury) and the ‘Bhitar Bhandar’ (Inner Treasury).
