Addressing the convocation of Calcutta University, the new Chancellor and Governor, RN Ravi, painted a grand vision of “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). He stated that by 2047, coinciding with 100 years of independence, India would undoubtedly secure its position among the top-tier global powers. Ravi urged the students to lead the charge in innovation and research, emphasizing that the journey to an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ rests on the brilliance of the youth graduating today.
