Bengal 2026: TMC Heavyweight Firhad Hakim Leads High-Voltage Campaign; Assures Voters on Missing Names

The battle for Bhowanipore has officially entered its most intense phase. Following Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s strategic directive to workers, Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim hit the streets of Chetla on Monday, initiating a massive door-to-door outreach campaign. Covering the Rakhal Das Auddy Road area, the TMC heavyweight was seen interacting with locals and seeking blessings for the ‘daughter of Bhowanipore.’

Exuding confidence, Hakim stated, “Mamata Banerjee will win by a margin of over 60,000 votes. This is her home, and people know her work.” Addressing concerns over names missing from the electoral rolls, he reassured citizens that the party is fighting all the way to the Supreme Court and will approach tribunals if necessary to protect their right to vote.

With TMC councillors presiding over all eight wards of the Bhowanipore constituency, the party is leveraging its organizational muscle to the fullest. Firhad’s high-octane campaign signals that the Trinamool Congress is leaving nothing to chance in securing a landslide victory for the CM in the 2026 Assembly Elections.
