Rain Alert: Will Thunderstorms Disrupt Your Week? Check the District-Wise Forecast!

The weather pattern in West Bengal remains unpredictable as the Alipore Meteorological Department predicts a mix of conditions across the state. While the intensity of rainfall is expected to decrease in South Bengal, favorable conditions for scattered showers will persist throughout the week.

According to the latest bulletin, districts including Jhargram, East and West Medinipur, and North and South 24 Parganas are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms. Residents should be prepared for gusty winds reaching speeds of 30 to 40 km/h. In other districts, including Kolkata, the sky will remain partially cloudy, though significant rainfall is unlikely.

Meanwhile, North Bengal continues to face a different scenario with a constant threat of localized heavy downpours. The IMD suggests that the interaction of moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal is keeping the atmosphere volatile. Although the monsoon is in its receding phase, the lingering moisture will trigger sporadic rain. Commuters and travelers are advised to keep an eye on real-time updates to avoid weather-related disruptions.
