Speaking to the media, she claimed that she intends to contest the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections as a BJP candidate from the Panihati constituency. A public opinion poll conducted on journalist Suman De’s YouTube channel and other social media platforms asked whether her candidacy would yield a ‘dividend’ for the BJP. The response was overwhelming: 67% of participants voted ‘Yes’, believing her entry would significantly boost the party’s prospects. Meanwhile, 29% disagreed, and 4% remained undecided.
