End of an Era! Dawood Ibrahim’s Ancestral Land Finally Sold After Years of Failed Auctions

In a major blow to the fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, his ancestral land in Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri district has finally been sold. After multiple failed auction attempts over the past few years due to the fear surrounding the don’s name, the property at Mumka village in Khed has found a new owner. Ajay Srivastava, a lawyer from Delhi, successfully won the bid for ₹1.10 crore.

The auction was conducted by the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (SAFEMA) authority. In previous instances, the auction saw a cold response as potential buyers feared retaliation from the D-Company. However, the latest auction reflects a shift in tide, proving that the law is finally reclaiming territories once associated with terror and crime.

Srivastava, who has previously purchased other properties belonging to the Kaskar family, expressed his intention to utilize the land for constructive purposes. He plans to establish a school or a social welfare center on the plot, aiming to replace the legacy of crime with the light of education. The successful sale of this land is being hailed as a significant symbolic victory for the Indian government in its ongoing crackdown on organized crime.
