In a heartbreaking incident at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport in Kolkata, a male passenger traveling with Indigo Airlines passed away following a sudden cardiac arrest. The passenger, who was en route to Bengaluru with his family for what was supposed to be a memorable trip, complained of severe chest pain shortly after deplaning or while inside the terminal premises.

The Sequence of Events: According to airport sources, the victim was accompanied by several family members. Witnesses reported that as they were navigating through the airport, the man suddenly gripped his chest and collapsed. The airport’s emergency medical response team was immediately summoned to the spot. After providing initial cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and stabilizing measures, he was rushed to the nearby Charnock Hospital.
