Pakistan Launches Fresh Airstrikes in Afghanistan After Peace Talks Collapse!

Violence has erupted once again in Afghanistan following the failure of peace and ceasefire negotiations, which were mediated by a delegation linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed. On Thursday night, the Pakistani Air Force launched intense airstrikes targeting residential areas in Kabul, as well as military and administrative hubs in Kandahar, Paktia, and Paktika. Kabul police have confirmed at least 4 deaths and 15 injuries, though local reports suggest the toll could be significantly higher.

According to data from UNAMA, the recent wave of Pakistani military operations—between February 26 and March 5—has resulted in 56 civilian deaths, including 24 children. The humanitarian crisis is escalating rapidly, with approximately 115,000 people forced to flee their homes. As peace talks remain unsuccessful, this intensified military escalation poses a severe threat to regional stability in South Asia.
