Border Conflict Escalates! Pakistan Targets Afghan Civilian Areas, Casualties Reported
The conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan has reached a critical stage following intense airstrikes conducted by the Pakistani Air Force across several Afghan regions, including Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia. The Taliban government has condemned the attacks, claiming that densely populated areas were targeted, resulting in significant destruction and the death of several civilians, including women and children.
Reports indicate that the strikes targeted the Al-Badr Corps headquarters in Kandahar and various military bases in Paktia and Kabul. While Pakistan maintains that these operations are aimed at eradicating militant groups, specifically the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), they have yet to respond to allegations of civilian casualties. Kabul police confirmed the deaths of 4 civilians and 15 injuries, prompting a stern warning from the Taliban of a massive counter-strike if the aggression continues.
The root cause of this ongoing hostility is the TTP’s alleged use of Afghan territory to launch attacks within Pakistan. Following recent deadly explosions in Pakistan, Islamabad has intensified its military stance, leading to this dangerous cycle of strikes and counter-strikes that threatens the stability of the entire region.
