In a major boost for the unemployed youth and landless laborers of West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced that the disbursement of funds under the ‘Yuvasathi’ and ‘Landless Agricultural Laborer’ schemes will commence today, Friday. Following a high-level administrative meeting at Nabanna on Thursday, the CM emphasized that the state’s development and welfare projects must continue unhindered despite the ongoing election season.

The funds will be directly credited to the bank accounts of eligible applicants. Officials noted that the verification process for online applications has been expedited, while offline applicants may need to wait slightly longer for their status updates. The Yuvasathi portal is being fully synchronized to ensure a smooth payout process.
