Details of the Heist: According to the police, the truck carrying a full load of LPG cylinders was parked on the side of the highway for a night halt. While the driver was fast asleep, the miscreants managed to break the locks of the vehicle. They reportedly transferred 524 filled cylinders into another vehicle and fled the scene undetected. The driver discovered the theft only the following morning when he found the truck nearly empty.
