A wave of panic swept through the locality on Wednesday morning after two live bombs were discovered in the courtyard of a Trinamool Congress (TMC) worker. The discovery has once again brought the issue of illegal explosives in the state to the forefront, creating a tense atmosphere among the residents.

The Incident: According to local reports, family members of the TMC worker spotted two suspicious, round objects lying in a corner of their yard early in the morning. Upon closer inspection, they realized these were high-intensity bombs. The police were immediately alerted and arrived at the spot with a large contingent. The TMC worker has alleged that political rivals planted the explosives to intimidate him or frame him in a criminal case. However, opposition leaders have dismissed these claims, calling it a result of internal bickering within the ruling party.
