Leader of the Opposition in Jharkhand, Babulal Marandi, has rocked the state’s political landscape by alleging that nearly ₹10,000 crore has disappeared from the state treasury. Marandi claimed that this is a deliberate attempt to avoid accountability at the highest level of government. He further accused CM Hemant Soren of stripping Congress ministers of their powers and centralizing all administrative control.

Administrative Defiance: Marandi stated that despite orders from the Finance Minister to investigate the matter, officials refused to attend meetings or provide explanations. He questioned the whereabouts of the funds and criticized the Chief Secretary for sitting on the investigation file for over three months. “The mystery behind the CM’s silence speaks volumes,” Marandi added, vowing to take this issue to the national level for a fair investigation.
