Speaking at a public event, Khan alleged that the assassination was not a random act of violence but a calculated move orchestrated by the top brass of the ruling party to silence a witness who knew “too much.”

Raju Jha was shot dead in broad daylight at Shaktigarh on a national highway last year, a case that has remained a subject of intense political debate. Saumitra Khan claimed that the investigation is being suppressed because it leads back to influential figures in the TMC.
