Real-Life ‘Nagina’? Woman Disappears Leaving 5-Foot Snake Skin on Bed, Spreads Panic in UP

In a plot straight out of a Bollywood thriller, a young woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya district orchestrated a sensational ‘Naagin’ drama to elope with her lover. The incident, which left the entire village gripped by supernatural fear, has now been debunked by the local police.
The Vanishing Act The mystery began when the woman didn’t open her door in the morning. Upon breaking in, her family found her missing, but what terrified them was a five-foot-long snake skin left on her bed. Rumors of her being a “shape-shifting serpent” (Ichhadhari Naagin) spread like wildfire, with many believing she had transformed and slithered away.
The Police Revelation However, the police investigation revealed a much more grounded reality. It turns out the woman was in a relationship with a local youth. To divert attention and stop her family from searching for her immediately, she strategically placed the snake skin to create a “supernatural” distraction.
Station House Officer Ajay Kumar called it a “perfectly scripted cinematic drama.” The police are currently tracking her mobile location to bring the runaway couple back. The ‘Naagin’ scare has finally subsided, leaving the villagers in disbelief at the girl’s creative escape plan.
