A mysterious disappearance in Auraiya district, Uttar Pradesh, which sparked widespread panic and superstition, has been solved by the local police. Rumors of a young girl transforming into a snake had gripped the village after her family found a five-foot-long snake skin neatly wrapped in a cloth on her empty bed. However, the police investigation has revealed a calculated plan behind the “miracle.”

The Masterplan: According to the police, the girl was in a relationship with a local youth and wanted to elope. To prevent her family from searching for her and to mask her escape with a supernatural touch, she intentionally planted the snake skin on her bed. Her goal was to make the villagers believe she had turned into a “Nagin” (serpent), thereby creating a sense of fear and awe that would stall any immediate police report.

Official Statement: Station House Officer Ajay Kumar described the incident as a “theatrical drama.” He stated that the girl used the snake skin to confuse people while she quietly fled with her lover. The police are currently monitoring her mobile phone and conducting technical surveillance to track her location. With the truth coming out, the superstitions in the village have finally subsided.
