Rohit Shetty Refutes ‘Golmaal 5’ Remake Rumors; Warns Legal Action Against Fake News

Director Rohit Shetty is making headlines for both professional controversies and a serious security threat. While his team has slammed rumors regarding ‘Golmaal 5’, a direct attack on his residence by the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang has left Bollywood in shock.

The director’s team issued an official statement denying reports that ‘Golmaal 5’ is inspired by the 1980 hit ‘Do Aur Do Paanch’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor. “This is entirely baseless. We request everyone to stop spreading this misinformation immediately or face legal consequences,” the statement read.

However, the bigger concern is the recent firing at Rohit Shetty’s Mumbai home. A social media post by an individual named ‘Arjo Bishnoi’, claiming to be from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, took responsibility for the act. The post warned, “We told him not to interfere in our business, but he didn’t listen. This was just a glimpse. Next time, the bullet won’t hit the wall; it will go straight through his chest.” Citing the fate of Baba Siddique, the gang issued a stern warning to the entire film industry. Security has been beefed up around the director as Mumbai police initiate a high-level probe.
