The town of Dabra is witnessing the beginning of a magnificent 10-day spiritual journey as the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Navgraha Shaktipeeth temple starts today. This unique temple, where nine planets will be consecrated along with their respective spouses and celestial vehicles, is expected to become a major pilgrimage hub.

Historic Kalash Yatra: The festival commences on Tuesday with a massive ‘Kalash Yatra’ starting from the Stadium Ground. Organizers claim that over 20,000 women will participate in this colorful procession, carrying sacred pots through the main streets of the city towards the temple site.

Grand Rituals and Saintly Presence: The ceremony, which concludes on February 20, will feature one lakh ‘ahutis’ (offerings) dedicated to each of the nine planetary deities. Renowned saints, spiritual orators, and religious scholars from across the country will grace the event. The scale of the rituals and the unique iconography of the deities have already drawn thousands of devotees to Dabra.
