“Don’t Call Me via Ministers!” Vishal Dadlani Blasts Rising Singer for Using Political Influence

Renowned Bollywood music composer and singer Vishal Dadlani is known for his no-nonsense attitude. Recently, he took to social media to lash out at a rising singer who attempted to bag work using political connections. Vishal’s blunt message to the industry’s newcomers is clear: “Respect the craft, not the contacts.”
A Stern Warning to Newcomers: In a strongly worded Instagram post, Vishal advised aspiring singers never to have a minister or their secretary call him for work. “This is a surefire way to ensure you never meet me,” he wrote. He emphasized that he has zero respect for individuals who try to bypass hard work by utilizing high-level influence.
The Blocking Spree: Revealing a recent incident, Vishal shared that he has blocked both the minister who called him and the singer who requested the recommendation. He stated, “Even if you become a world-class singer now, I have no interest in working with you. Sorry.” He added that seeking work through such calls is “boring” and proves that the artist lacks confidence in their own talent.
Munawar Faruqui Joins the Fun: The post saw a humorous comment from Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui, who joked, “Sir, my manager has saved his name as ‘Minister’ on Truecaller. Please unblock him.” Vishal wittily replied, “Good job hiring him, now hire a lawyer too.” Vishal Dadlani, currently a judge on Indian Idol, is the mastermind behind chartbusters like ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ and ‘Besharam Rang’.
