Cold-Blooded Murder in MP! 28-Year-Old Nurse Shot Dead at Hospital Entrance While Heading for Duty

A sensational murder of a 28-year-old nurse has sent shockwaves through the Shahgarh area of Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district. Deepshikha Chadhar, a dedicated staff nurse at the Shahgarh Community Health Centre, was shot dead by an unidentified assailant right at the hospital’s main gate on Wednesday night while she was arriving for her shift.

How the Incident Unfolded: According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred around 8:00 PM. Deepshikha was approaching the hospital on her scooter when the attacker, who was allegedly waiting in ambush, fired a single shot aimed at her chest. She collapsed instantly as bystanders screamed for help. Despite attempts by some locals to chase the culprit, the assailant managed to escape into the nearby forest under the cover of darkness.

Administrative Negligence Alleged: The brazen nature of the crime has raised serious questions about law and order, as the crime scene is just 200 meters away from the local police station. Sagar Police have recovered a spent shell from the spot and are analyzing CCTV footage from nearby cameras. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed deep condolences and directed the police to arrest the accused immediately.

Anger Among Healthcare Workers: The Nursing Association and health unions have condemned the act, citing a lack of security for female staff working late-night shifts. Deepshikha, the sole breadwinner of her family, is survived by her mother and two younger siblings. The medical community is demanding a permanent police picket near the health center and improved lighting to ensure the safety of frontline workers.
