Beyond free Wi-Fi, Estonia’s digital ecosystem allows global citizens to become e-residents, enabling remote business setup and banking. Since gaining independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, the country has leaped forward, blending economic growth with environmental excellence—boasting some of the world’s cleanest air, per WHO data. Free public transport in Tallinn, introduced in 2013, further eases costs for residents.
