Army action after Pahalgam attack: Elimination of terrorists is certain, they will be wiped out from J&K

Srinagar: After the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April 2025, in which 26 innocent tourists lost their lives, the Indian Army has launched a three-pronged operation against terrorism. The Army identified more than 130 active terrorists in the Kashmir Valley and launched three parallel operations to eliminate them. The attack has trapped the terrorists in their own trap, and the Army is now determined to completely wipe them out from Jammu and Kashmir.
Army operation at three levels
The first operation targets terrorists hiding within the valley, the second targets those trying to infiltrate near the Line of Control (LoC), and the third focuses on destroying terrorist launch pads in PoK. A senior Army official said, “More than 24 operations are active after the Pahalgam attack; our Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and special forces are ready to respond to every terrorist.” Heavy weapons, surveillance drones and radar systems have been deployed on the LoC so that any suspicious activity from Pakistan can be responded to immediately.
Strictness on Pakistan, preparation for cross-border raid
The army has been ordered to give a befitting reply to any suspicious activity from Pakistan. Intelligence sources have confirmed the presence of 130 foreign terrorists, including Lashkar-e-Taiba and TRF terrorists. Special forces teams are ready for cross-border raids if needed. Defense expert Major General (Retd.) G.D. Bakshi said, “This operation is the beginning of the end for terrorists; this army operation will make the valley terror-free.”
End of terror is near
The Pahalgam attack has further tightened India’s security policies. With the deployment of the army and the activation of the intelligence system, the terrorists no longer have any place to hide. This operation will not only punish the culprits, but is also a big step towards restoring peace in Kashmir.
