The initiative of the state government and the activism of the Employment Office have opened the doors of employment in countries like Germany, Japan and Israel. Applications have been invited for jobs in the medical field in these countries through the District Youth Employment Office, which has raised new hopes among unemployed youth. The special thing is that the last date for application has been extended from 31 March to 30 April, so that more and more youth can take advantage of this opportunity.
Golden opportunity of jobs
Under this initiative, recruitment is to be done for 5000 posts for Home Based Care Giver in Israel, 50 posts for Care Giver in Japan and 250 posts for Assistant Nurse in Germany. Israel has emerged as the first choice of youth due to the highest number of posts. Mohit Yadav, a youth from Ghazipur, says, “There are so many positions in Israel and the salary is also good. This is a life-changing opportunity for people like me.” This enthusiasm is not limited to Ghazipur only, but youth across the state do not want to let go of this opportunity.
The application process is completely online. Interested youth will have to register by visiting the Rojgar Sangam portal (rojgaarsangam.up.gov.in). An official of the employment office said, “Our aim is to provide employment abroad to the youth in a transparent and easy way. Information can also be obtained on toll-free number 155330.”
Salary and working hours: Which country pays how much?
The salary and working hours of these jobs are a center of attraction for the youth. The salary for the job of assistant nurse in Germany has been fixed at Rs 2,29,259 per month. Here one has to work 5 days a week and 8 hours a day. The age limit has been kept between 24 to 40 years. An expert says, “This job in Germany is best for those who want stability and good income.”

On the other hand, in Israel, a home-based caregiver will get a salary of Rs 1,31,818 per month. Here the working hours are a little more—6 days a week and 9 hours a day. The age limit is 25 to 45 years. An applicant from Lucknow, Ravi Sharma, says, “There is one more day of work in a week, but the salary and facilities there justify it.”

The salary for a caregiver job in Japan is Rs 1,16,976 per month. Here the duty will be 5 days a week and 8 hours a day. The age limit is 20 to 27 years and candidates must have knowledge of English and Japanese language. Akash Verma, who is thinking of working in Japan, says, “Learning the language is a challenge, but not everyone gets a chance to start a career abroad at such a young age.”

Qualification and preparation

The minimum educational qualification for these posts is 10th pass. Apart from this, nursing diploma or one year of experience is required for Israel and Germany, while three months of experience is sufficient in Japan. An official of the Employment Department said, “We are also providing skill training to the youth, so that they can perform better abroad.”

Unemployment has been a big challenge in Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, this opportunity of employment abroad is not only a means of economic strength, but is also fulfilling the dream of respect and better life for the families. A diplomatic analyst says, “This is the result of strengthening relations between India and these countries.
