Muhammad Yunus: Bangladesh elections between December and June, Yunus makes big announcement.

Questions have started to arise about when the Bangladesh elections will be held. After Muhammad Yunus was made the head of the interim government, it was heard that elections would be held in Bangladesh soon. However, eight months have passed since then. Just before Bangladesh’s Independence Day tomorrow, Yunus announced the election time.
Yunus said, ‘I have said before, and I will say again, the election will be held between December of this year and June of next year. We want the next election to be the freest, fairest, and most acceptable election in the history of Bangladesh. For this, the Election Commission has started all kinds of preparations. I hope that the political parties will start preparing for the election with great enthusiasm.’
Since August 5 last year, the situation in Bangladesh has not yet returned to normal. The situation in Muhammad Yunus’s country has become unstable in a few days. An atmosphere of suspicion of a coup has also been created. In such a situation, the army has demanded to hold elections in the country as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has announced that Independence Day will be celebrated with due dignity in Bangladesh tomorrow.
