Driver Dies After Suffering Heart Attack, Losing Control of Moving Car

A tragic road accident occurred in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, after a driver suffered a sudden heart attack while behind the wheel. The incident took place early Saturday morning as the individual, identified as 55-year-old Dhiraj Patil, was driving his Morris Garage Windsor car to his office. While approaching a flyover, he was struck by a heart attack, causing him to lose control of his vehicle. The uncontrolled car collided with multiple vehicles, including an auto-rickshaw, a motorcycle, and several cars, leaving at least 10 vehicles damaged. Unfortunately, the driver succumbed to the heart attack during the mishap.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras, providing authorities with crucial details about the chain of events. Initially, the cause of the accident was unclear, but a post-mortem examination later confirmed that Patil had suffered a fatal heart attack, which led to the crash.
