Flight Acceptance Hot Test of Cryogenic Engine for LVM3-M6 Mission Successful

Chennai, March 15 In another historic step, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully conducted the flight acceptance hot test of the cryogenic engine for the sixth operational mission of the LVM3 Launch Vehicle (LVMM6). It is worth mentioning that the acceptance hot test is a verification procedure that ensures that the aircraft is safe and airworthy before the flight. The flight acceptance hot test of the CE20 cryogenic engine for the LVL3-M6 mission was conducted on Friday at the Isro Propulsion Complex (IPRC) in Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu. Cryogenic engines for every mission have to undergo hot testing as part of flight acceptance.
