But should actors always comply? Not necessarily. This has often led to controversies regarding costumes and intimate scenes.

Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna once found herself in a similar situation. During a film shoot, she was supposed to do a rain scene, something she had already agreed to. However, upon reaching the set, the director unexpectedly asked her, “Can you give a shot like Mandakini?” Without hesitation, Twinkle firmly replied, “No, because my director is not Raj Kapoor.” Her sharp response left the director speechless, and he walked away without another word. Eventually, the scene was completed using graphics. Twinkle has always been known for her straightforwardness, and this incident was no exception.
