In a tragic incident at Narayantala, Baguiati, a seven-year-old girl named Riya Kumari lost her life due to severe injuries sustained from broken glass in an E-rickshaw accident on Thursday evening. Reports state that Riya was playing outside her home when an E-rickshaw arrived to unload goods. While playing, Riya inadvertently turned the ignition key, causing the vehicle to suddenly move forward uncontrollably. It collided with a nearby transformer, shattering the windshield. Losing her balance, Riya fell onto the sharp broken glass, severely injuring her neck. She was rushed to R.G. Kar Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival.
