According to international news sources, scandals involving female prison guards in Britain, some dating back decades, have resurfaced. Over the past four years, more than 40 female guards have been sacked by the administration. This has pushed the country’s security system into question, sparking widespread debate. It has been reported that the rate of crimes inside jails has tripled in recent years.

A 26-year-old prison guard, Katie Evans, has been sentenced to 21 months in prison after being proven guilty of engaging in sexual activities with inmates. Investigations revealed that she made 140 phone calls to a criminal convicted of theft and transferred money to another bank account.

It’s not just Katie—several other female guards have also been involved in sexual activities with prisoners. They would tear specific parts of the inmates’ clothing. Slipping into the jail silently, they engaged in sex and then left. Multiple prisoners even established physical relationships with each other, an opportunity facilitated by the female guards themselves. The guards took thousands of rupees from the prisoners for sex. Following the exposure of these incidents, the police have launched an investigation against 40 female guards.
