A few days ago, the hanging body of a middle-aged man was recovered in Morena, Madhya Pradesh. Following that incident, a video has gone viral on social media. In the video, it is seen that the man’s wife is holding his legs down while his daughters are brutally beating him with a stick.

As soon as the video came to light, there has been an uproar in various circles. Social media has also erupted in a storm of criticism.

According to police sources, the deceased middle-aged man was named Harendra Maurya. His body has already been sent for autopsy. Once the autopsy report arrives, it will be determined whether he committed suicide or was murdered. Harendra was an electrician by profession and had three daughters and one son. Neighbors and relatives have stated that Harendra often quarreled with his wife and daughters. On March 1st, he had married off two of his daughters. Immediately after their marriage, Harendra’s wife clearly stated that she wanted a divorce. Following this, she left for her father’s house. After his wife left, Harendra locked himself inside a room. When no sound was heard from inside even after a long time, his family broke down the door and found Harendra’s hanging body.

Police sources revealed that the video circulating on social media was from February 1st. Based on the video, it is believed that Harendra was frequently physically abused by his wife and daughters. Police official Deepali Chandoria said, “Initial investigations indicate domestic disputes. The body has been sent to Gwalior Medical College for autopsy. Further actions will be taken based on that report.” Deepali further mentioned that they have collected the beating video as evidence. An investigation into the incident has begun.
