The controversy over Indian cricketers seems to be going on! Recently, a video of a podcast went viral, where a woman claimed that an Indian cricketer sent her one message after another on Instagram. According to her, the cricketer used to send 3-4 DMs every hour, which shocked her.

In the clipping of the viral podcast, a woman is seen sharing her experience. At that time, the host asked her, ‘DM from the Indian cricket team?’ To which the woman replied, ‘Yes, this message came from a player of the Indian team, but I will not name him.’

When the host then asked for a hint, she said, ‘I will just say, he is a leg spinner.’ Then she added, ‘He is still in the news, he is involved in controversies for various reasons.’

The woman also said, ‘At first I didn’t know him, so I did a little research. Later I saw that he was sending me 3-4 messages every hour! He wrote – ‘Where are you? Won’t you talk to me? Why aren’t you replying?”

As soon as this comment came to light, speculation started on social media. Many netizens are guessing that he might be India’s popular leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal! Although this could not be confirmed and the woman cricketer did not reveal the name of the cricketer.

A section of fans think that this is just a gossip, which is being used to create hype. Some others think that cricketers’ personal lives should not be discussed so much. However, no comment has been received from any cricketer or the board on the matter so far.
