Elon Musk’s microblogging platform X (Twitter) has crashed globally once again. Thousands of users faced problems due to this technical glitch. Users from several countries have reported problems with both the X app and website. This is the third time on Monday, when the platform has faced a technical glitch, users are having trouble logging in and loading posts.

X users around the world faced problems on Monday. The situation had become such that users were not able to search anything on X. Everyone was trying to find out why this was happening. Now the reason behind it has also come to light. It has been reported that there was a major cyberattack on X due to which people had to face problems using X. This information has been given by the owner of X himself, Elon Musk.

X was down for 30-40 minutes

X was down for at least 30-40 minutes, after which the platform started working for some users. According to platform outage tracking platform Downdetector, the outage on X peaked at around 3 pm. Downdetector saw a huge spike in user complaints about X being down. Due to X being down, users took to other platforms like Facebook and Instagram to register their complaints about the social media site. During the downtime, X stops working completely, and users are unable to tweet or open pages on the platform.

Complaints filed in India too

Over 1,000 users in India also complained about X being down on Downdetector. According to the report, 58 percent of the issues are app-related, 32 percent are website-related, and 10 percent of users are facing server connection issues. However, the outage was less severe in India than in the US. According to the complaints filed here, 51% of users faced issues with the website, 38% with the app and 1% with login issues.

Most users had trouble loading the home feed, while some were unable to access the platform. At times, the message “Something went wrong, try reloading” also appeared on the screen. The Elon Musk-owned site has been plagued by glitches several times in the past. Users are constantly getting frustrated with technical issues and are raising questions on social media about the platform’s functioning.
