Osmania University’s microchip to be available in next 6 months, Chandigarh’s thermal analysis experiment

Hyderabad. March 10 (Siayast News) The indigenous microchip developed by the Department of Engineering of Osmania University will be available in the next six months. This chip, called a frequency synthesizer, has been developed by research students under the leadership of Professor Chandrashekhar, Head of the Electronics Department. These projects were approved by the central government under the Chips to ‘Startup’ scheme. It was started with Rs 5 crore. Scientists from the Semiconductor Laboratory (SEL), Chandigarh, conducted a thermal analysis test in which it was confirmed that the circuit in the microchip is working properly. After conducting time analysis and smooth signal tests, the scientists will prepare the microchip, which will be officially approved and its report will be sent to the Osmania University’s College of Engineering. Osmania University professors, along with research students from another private engineering college in Hyderabad, started research two years ago and designed a frequency synthesizer. A microchip that increases the internal capacity of vehicles, appliances and other objects that work in digital mode. It is almost complete. Frequency synthesizer chips will prove to be a game changer in the design of our vehicles and electronics. When these chips are available in the market after the approval of the central government, our potential will be revealed to the world, claimed Professor Chandrashekhar, Principal of Osmania University Engineering College. He said that this chip will work with Bluetooth technology. 2
