“6 Lakh Jobs in 6 Months, ₹3000 for Women”! Suvendu Adhikari’s Mega Promises in Nandigram

The political atmosphere in Nandigram heated up as Leader of the Opposition, Suvendu Adhikari, conducted a high-voltage mass outreach program in Dighipara. Balancing a populist touch with aggressive rhetoric, Suvendu was seen obliging school students with selfies while simultaneously launching a scathing attack on the ruling TMC government.

Exuding confidence, Adhikari declared, “Be assured, the BJP is going to form the government in West Bengal.” He made a series of bold promises, stating that under a BJP administration, 6 lakh recruitments would be completed within just six months. To counter the current welfare schemes, he promised that starting June 1st, women would receive ₹3,000 directly in their bank accounts.

However, the highlight of his speech was a direct warning to local leaders and administrative officials. Pointing towards the crowd, Suvendu remarked, “I am keeping all the photos and records. Everyone’s account will be settled soon.” This stern message, coupled with his massive employment and cash-benefit promises, has set a competitive tone for the upcoming polls in this high-stakes constituency.
