10 Crore Heroin Seized! BSF Foils Pakistani Drone Infiltration Plot at Khajuwala Border!

In a major blow to cross-border drug smuggling, Indian security agencies successfully foiled another sinister attempt by Pakistan to push narcotics into Indian territory. During a high-stakes joint operation by the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Khajuwala Police, a large consignment of heroin dropped by a drone was recovered near the international border in Shri Ganganagar.

The Midnight Operation Acting on precise intelligence, a search operation was launched in the desert terrain of Chak 1 BM, near Chak 14 BD under the Khajuwala police station limits. Acting Station House Officer Harpal Singh led the team alongside BSF personnel in a meticulously planned sweep of the area. The team discovered four suspicious packets that had been dropped by a Pakistani drone under the cover of darkness.

Rs 10 Crore Consignment Recovered Upon inspection, the security forces found approximately 2.025 kg of high-grade heroin. The estimated value of the seized narcotics in the international market is nearly Rs 10 crore (100 million). Preliminary investigations suggest that the drone entered Indian airspace briefly to drop the consignment for local handlers. This major recovery has once again highlighted Pakistan’s continued efforts to use technology for narco-terrorism. Security has been beefed up in the border areas, and a thorough investigation is underway to identify the intended recipients of the drug haul.
